# The booking form says which fields you can leave out

Every booking form now marks the fields you may leave empty: Room and Phone read optional on all of them, and the guest's name reads optional on the office's two. The phone was never required, and an example number sitting in the box read like a format to follow, so a desk was asking guests for a number nobody needed. The hotel and the language are still the two a booking will not save without, together with the guest's name at a reseller's desk.
