# Someone can read everything and change nothing

An Owner can now make a person read only: they keep their role and see everything it shows, and no screen offers them anything that would change the company. On **Team**, open the three dots at the end of their row and choose **Make read only**, or tick **Read only** on the invite form to bring somebody in that way from the start. The tag **Read only** then shows beside their role, and **Allow changes** in the same menu gives the changes back. Their own details, password and language stay theirs to change. It suits the owner of another operation who looks in on yours, or anybody you would rather had no hand on the day.
