# Set up and follow free vans from Tour Planning

**Tour Planning** has a **Free vans** row: each day says how many extra vans the tour operators can still open, which ones they opened and what each still lacks, such as a guide. Until free vans are set up the row says so, and **Set up free vans** opens one place with a checklist: the vans, the tours, and the **Extra van cutoff**, 48 hours before the tour day unless you change it. A private tour can now run in a free van too, one booking taking the whole van. A company that does not use free vans can say so and fold the row away.
