# An invitation is followed up until the person joins

An invitation is no longer sent once and then forgotten. Three reminders follow it, one day, four days and eleven days after, each carrying a fresh link that retires the one before it, so the newest email is always the one to open. The person's row on Team says where they stand, the day they were invited and which reminder has gone, and after the third it says they have not joined, and whoever invited them is told once by email and in their inbox. An address that comes back stops the reminders at once and says why under the row, and Resend invite starts the series again from that day. The invitation itself now names who it is from and what it is for.
