# A guide who is off is never put on a departure by mistake

Marking a guide off now holds everywhere, not only in the lists the board offers. Putting somebody who is off on a departure that day is refused, a move onto that day included, with a line naming them, the day and the state they are in, and asking you to pick somebody else or change the day. A departure that already has a guide who was marked off since keeps the name, reading off today with a warning beside the tour, so the day shows you who needs replacing instead of an empty GUIA.
