# Tour operator software for excursion companies in mainland Spain

How excursions are sold in mainland Spain, what the software market there looks like, and what TourCockpit brings a tour or excursion company that sells through tour operators, hotel desks and agencies: an operator portal, a daily operations board and a month-end settlement per operator, at a published price, in Spanish for the office and six languages for the operators.

## How are excursions sold in mainland Spain?

Distribution runs through Civitatis, GetYourGuide, Viator and the agencies; booking engines such as TuriTop and Orbis sell the widget; agency and DMC back offices such as OfiMayor, GIAV and Dispongo run the larger companies; and the coach ERPs run the vehicles. Deals go to the local ERP house with thirty years of relationships, or to whatever the company's largest distribution partner nudged it toward.

## What does the software market look like there?

The operations board that joins departures to vans to guides to hotel pickups to the operator's commission is the thin layer that falls between all four camps. Only one Spanish vendor claims it, and it prices per booking with nothing per month; the DMC back offices that cover the whole job start at a five-figure registration fee.

## What does TourCockpit bring to a company in mainland Spain?

- The board, the operator portal and the settlement in one product, at a published €300 a month with no registration fee and no multi-year term.
- Per-operator commission percentages and a month-end settlement run, which the booking engines store but do not run.
- A Spanish-first office with operators booking in their own language: Italian, German, French, English or Portuguese.

## Local specifics

- Sales in this market run through FITUR and the regional agency associations; a published price is unusual and is a differentiator.
- Kit Digital resellers push subsidised booking engines; the operator portal and the settlement are what a subsidised widget does not do.
- IVA on the mainland, IGIC on the islands, on the same platform.

Market notes come from our own research across seven European markets, completed in August 2026, checked against each vendor's own pages. Where TourCockpit does not do something, this page says so.
