# Guide pay: what each guide earned this month

Guide pay is the month's pay sheet, read from the board: what each guide earned for the tours they ran, the cash each collected on board, and the difference between the two. Nothing is typed into it. It is the Owner's alone.

## What does the pay sheet show?

Open Financials and choose Guide pay, then step a month at a time with Previous and Next. One row per guide: how many Corti, Larghi, Medio día, Private and Transfer tours they ran, how many carried 3+ languages, then Earned, Collected and Difference, with a TOTAL row closing the table. On a phone each guide is a card with the same figures. A month still running counts the tours that have run up to today.

Only an Owner sees Guide pay. A manager has no link to it, and opening its address answers that the page does not exist.

## How is each guide's pay worked out?

- Per tour, never per day. Every tour a guide ran earns its own rate, so a Medio Día morning and a Medio Día afternoon on the same day are two tours and two payments.
- The tour's family first, then its length. A Medio Día, a private tour (a FAM TRIP is paid as one) and a transfer each have a rate of their own, whatever length is typed on the block. A NORTE, SUR or trekking tour is paid as a CORTO or a LARGO, by the length set on that departure.
- Three languages or more add a flat supplement, counted from the languages booked on that departure.
- The guide is paid, the driver is not. The GUIA of a departure is paid for it; the CHOFER is not on this sheet.
- Rates have a start date. Each tour is paid at the rate in force on its own date, so a month that spans a change pays each tour at the right one. A guide can have a rate of their own, which then wins over the company's.

Collected is the cash on the CASH bookings of that guide's tours, the same figure as Cash picked up on board on Financials. Difference is earned minus collected: what is handed over, or taken back, at month end. It is reported here, not settled. Only tours with at least one booking count, as on Financials.

## What does unrated mean?

A tour is unrated when its pay cannot be known yet: a NORTE, SUR or trekking departure with no length set on the board, or a tour with no rate in force on its date. An unrated tour adds nothing to the euros and is never counted as zero: the figure reads as the euros known plus how many tours are unrated, and each unrated tour is listed under its guide with the reason. Set the length on the board and the tour is paid the next time the page is opened.
