Pure people-planning; no tours are assigned here. It is where days off, vacations and sick days are recorded, and the board reads it before offering anyone a tour. ## What is Driver Availability? A grid of your guides against the days you plan. Week is Monday to Sunday, with full day names, and Month is the calendar month, from the first to the last day. The screen remembers which of the two you chose last on this browser and opens on it, on the week or month that holds today. The arrows move a week or a month at a time and Today brings you back. Days before today stay on screen and can still be changed: a sick day nobody recorded is fixed afterwards on its own day. Saturday and Sunday are shaded a shade darker than the weekdays, from the day names at the top to the count at the bottom, so the weekend reads at a glance across a month. The bottom row counts who is Available each day, and turns red on a day nobody is. This is a manager screen. Someone can also be marked off for today from the Daily Board. ## What are the five states? - Available is the quiet default, a plain check mark: the person can be given a tour. - Day off is the everyday off: the weekly rest, an appointment. - Office is a working day spent at a desk instead of on a van: the guide is here, and cannot be given a tour. - Vacation is planned time away, usually a range of days. - Sick is the unplanned one, set on the day itself. Only Available offers the person for a tour. The other four all take them out of the guide list for that day, and the difference between them is for your own planning: Office is the one where the guide is still working, so a week of it is not a week of leave. Each state has its own colour, and the row of states above the grid shows all five. In month view the narrow cells shorten the words to their initial, so a painted vacation reads as a run of V cells. ## How do I mark days off? 1. Pick the state you want from the row above the grid. Day off is picked for you when the screen opens, because it is the everyday one. 2. Click a day to set it. One click, whichever state you picked. 3. Clicked the wrong day? Click it again. A day that already carries the state you are holding goes back to Available. 4. To set a span, press a day and drag along that guide's row; the whole sweep gets the state you picked and saves as you release. 5. For a longer range, press + Add time off, choose the guide, the state and the dates on the two calendars, and Save. ## How does availability affect the board and planning? A guide marked off simply stops being offered: on that day's board, their name is not in the GUIA choices any more, whichever of the other four states it was. The one tour that keeps it is the tour that already has them: there the name stays, reading Duarte (off today) with a warning beside the tour, so the day shows who needs replacing instead of an empty GUIA. Tour Planning is untouched, because planning decides which tours run, not who runs them; the person question is asked on the board, and that is where availability answers it. It is a rule, not only a shorter list: putting somebody who is off on a departure that day is refused wherever it is tried, including a move to that day, with Duarte is off on 2027-09-06 (Day off). Pick somebody else or change the day. It works in the other direction too: a guide who already runs a tour cannot be marked off for that day. The grid refuses with the tour's dates and asks you to reassign those days first, so an assignment is never silently orphaned. A sweep or a span of days is saved whole or not at all: when any guide in it already runs a tour on one of its days, nothing is changed, every cell goes back to what it was, and the message names every such guide with their days at once, so you can reassign them all before you try again. ## Can I mark someone off from the Daily Board? Yes, for today. The board's DISPONIBILIDAD panel lists everyone in three rows: Available, Off today and On duty. Tap a name under Available and they move to Off today; tap them there and they are back. People under On duty already hold a tour today, so they cannot be marked off until the tour is reassigned. The board and this screen are the same record: a day marked off from the board shows up here as Vacation on today's column, and anything set here shapes the board's lists the moment it saves.
