# The Office Dashboard

The Office Dashboard is today at a glance: how many tours run, how many passengers ride, the cash the guides collect and how many people are crewing. Staff open TourCockpit on it. This page explains each number, the table under them, and where to go from there.

## What is the Office Dashboard?

A summary of today's board, for the office. Staff land on it when they sign in, and whenever they open the TourCockpit address while signed in; managers start on the Daily Board instead. It is not in the menu. The one link to it is Go to the TourCockpit home page, which appears after you change your password.

- Nothing on it can be changed. It reads the same board the office works on, so a booking entered or cancelled there shows here the next time the page is opened.
- New Booking and Open Daily Board both take you to the Daily Board, because a booking is always entered on the day it belongs to.

## What do the four numbers count?

- Tours today is the number of departures on today's board. A departure the office cancelled is not counted.
- Passengers today adds up AD, CH and INF on every booking for today that is not cancelled. Infants count, because they take a seat, and so does a guest marked as a no-show.
- Cash collected adds up the figures on today's CASH bookings: what the guides collect on board. Only whole amounts are counted, so a figure with cents, such as 12.50, is left out of this total. For the exact sum, read the CASH column on the board.
- Guides on duty counts the people crewing today's departures: every GUIA, and every CHOFER on a departure that has one. A person is counted once, even when they work two departures.

## What does the Today's Tours table show?

One row per departure, in the same order as the board. GUIA is the guide, LARGO / CORTO the tour length, full or short, FURGO the van, and Pax the passengers booked on it. Anything not assigned yet reads as a dash, so a departure still waiting for its guide or its van stands out.

When nothing is scheduled for today, the table gives way to No tours today. A day is planned on Tour Planning or on the board itself, and the dashboard shows it as soon as a tour is placed.
