The board shows one day's operations on one screen: every departure, every guest, every guide and van, exactly the way the office sheet used to. This page explains how to read it. Entering, moving, tracing and sharing bookings each have their own page, linked below.
What am I looking at?
The Daily Operations Board is one day, chosen at the top. Each tour block is one departure: a header with the tour and its crew, then the manifest of everyone travelling. It replaces the spreadsheet the office used to keep: same columns, same words, but shared, live and impossible to overwrite by accident.
Above the blocks, the day's totals: Total Tours, Total Passengers, Vehicles in Use and Drivers on Duty. A guide and a chofer on the same bus count as two drivers. When a day note exists it shows as a banner starting with Day note:, visible to the whole office and on the printed program.

How do I read a tour block?
The header line carries a coloured dot, the tour's name, and the occupancy pill: seats taken over seats on the van, for example 12/26. The pill is green while the party fits and turns red only when the block is over capacity.
Under it sit the crew controls. GUIA is the guide who leads the tour, CHOFER an optional second crew member who only drives, FURGO the van, and Length is LARGO or CORTO. Each one saves the moment you change it; there is no separate save step. Anyone already out on an overlapping tour is shown but disabled, and a guide marked off for the day disappears from the lists.
Language rules always read the GUIA alone. The CHOFER drives; what they speak never counts as coverage for the guests on board.
What do the colours mean?
Colour tells you the kind of departure, not its status. Every destination family has its colour, taken from the office's old workbook: blue for the north route, yellow for the south, green shades for the half-day tours, pink for private tours, teal for trekking, orange for fam trips. A tour can also carry its own colour, chosen on the tour form, which wins over the family default.
The block shows its colour three ways: the left border, the dot beside the name, and a light tint behind the header. The only colours that mean trouble are different ones: the occupancy pill turning red, and the yellow warning chips explained below.
What does each manifest column show?
The manifest keeps the office's own column heads, verbatim in every language, because they are what the team says out loud: the sheet's vocabulary is the product's vocabulary.
Pickup time (the clock column): when the van collects this booking. It fills itself from the hotel's zone; the Zones, hotels and pickup times page explains how.
HOTEL: where the guests are collected.
NOME/HAB: guest name and room. A manager's office note shows underneath in italics, invisible to operators.
AD / CH / INF: adults, children, infants. Infants ride free but still take a seat.
Child-seat (the seat column): the seat code, for example S1+E1. Rest on the code to read its full description in your language.
Language: the booking's language as a flag, with a small warning when the guide does not speak it.
Lunch (the fork column): marked when the booking includes lunch.
CASH: the amount to collect on board for a CASH booking, the word TKT for a voucher, and empty for a booking prepaid through an operator.
CONTACTO: the guest's phone number.
T.O.: the tour operator that sold the seat. Empty means a direct booking.
REF: who referred the booking, a name, @ for online, or Reception.
Staff (the person column): the initials of whoever in the office entered the booking, recorded automatically.
The last line of every manifest is the TOT. row, the block's head count. Guest notes, the requests written for the office and the guide, are collected under the table as Guest notes, and a note for the whole departure shows as its own banner inside the block.
Who is available today?
The day summary panel carries two lines: DISPONIBILIDAD (guides) and Furgos (vans). Each splits into Available, Off today and On duty, so one glance answers who can still be sent out.
Tap an available guide to mark them off for the day; their chip turns red and struck through, and they disappear from every GUIA and CHOFER list for that date.

Marking a guide off does not touch tours they are already assigned to: they stay On duty on those blocks, so a conflict stays visible instead of silently disappearing. Vans are listed but not tappable; their day is decided by the FURGO control on each block.
How do I move between days?
On a desktop, the month calendar on the left is the navigation: every day shows its tour count, and it reaches backwards as well as forwards, so last month's board is one click away. On a phone or tablet, the date bar steps one day at a time, tapping the date opens the week strip with a passenger count on every day, and the calendar button opens the same month view.
To come back to today, choose Daily Board in the navigation: with no date picked it always opens the current day.
Why does a block warn that the guide doesn't speak a language?
When a booking's language is missing from the assigned guide's Speaks list in Reference Data, the block's header shows a yellow badge reading guide doesn't speak with the flags concerned, and the row itself carries a small warning marker. Choosing a guide on a block that already has bookings shows the same warning as you pick.
The warning is advice, never a lock: the office may know the family also speaks English, or that a colleague will call ahead. It appears only when the guide is one of the roster's own; a name typed free-hand shows no warning, because unknown is not the same as mismatch.
Do I need to reload to see new bookings?
No. The board checks for changes every few seconds while the tab is open. When a colleague adds a booking, an operator books through the portal, or someone marks a guide off, your board catches up by itself: rows, totals and the availability chips simply become current, without moving what you are looking at.
While you are typing in a row, the board never refreshes under your hands. Instead a quiet notice appears, The board was updated., with a Refresh button; finishing or cancelling your edit applies the update automatically. The same notice tells you when a new version of the app is available.
