# TourCockpit compared with bookingkit: price, operator portal, daily board and settlement

bookingkit (Germany) and TourCockpit, side by side: what each one is, what each one costs at its published price, and where each is the better fit for a tour or excursion company that sells through tour operators, hotel desks and agencies.

## What is bookingkit?

bookingkit is German online booking software for attractions and experience providers, sold across Europe in four languages, with a stacked fee model: a booking fee, an online payment fee and a per-ticket fee on top of the subscription.

## What does each one cost?

| | TourCockpit | bookingkit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Platform fee | €300 per month | €49 (annual) to €99 to €119 per month |
| Per booking | 1% of the bookings taken through the platform | 3% (Starter) or 2% (Business) booking fee, plus 3% online payment fee, plus €0.60 per ticket |
| Setup | €0, onboarding with your real data included | Not published |
| Minimum term | None, month to month | Annual on the entry tier |
| Realistic bill at 875 tickets and €43,000 of bookings a month | €300 plus 1% of the bookings taken through the platform | €1,484 to €2,774 per month, the payment fees included |

Prices are the vendors' published list prices as read on their own pages in August 2026; where a vendor publishes no figure, the table says so. Check the vendor's page for the current number.

## Where is bookingkit the better fit?

- Online sales to the public for attractions and experiences, with channel connections.
- A German company for a German buyer, with a large European installed base.

## Where is TourCockpit the better fit?

- A price that is one line: €300 and 1%, itemized, with no payment fee and no per-ticket fee, because TourCockpit does not process the money.
- An operator portal with a commission per operator and a month-end settlement, which is what a company that sells through TUI or an agency needs from its software.
- The office's daily board, in German for the office and in the operator's language for the operator.

## Questions

Why is bookingkit's bill so much higher in the table? Because its percentages stack: a booking fee, a payment fee and a ticket fee apply to each sale. At 875 tickets a month that is €1,484 to €2,774. TourCockpit charges 1% of the bookings taken through the platform and nothing on payment.

Does TourCockpit take card payments? No. You invoice your operators and take your cash as you do today. That is why there is no payment fee.
