On a tour that charges more from one zone than another, the running total in a booking row showed the tour's own fare while the saved booking carried the zone's, so the office quoted one figure on the phone and charged another. The row and the sheet on a phone price the party from the hotel's zone now, exactly as the save does, and changing the hotel on a booking you are editing moves the total with it.
